Period Cube -Shackles of Amadeus- Bishie’s Take! (Team KAZUHA!)

“I feel like playing an MMO…”

This is what I said when I played one route of Period Cube! The game literally made me wanna play ANOTHER game. Impressive! But not because Period Cube was a bad game, no not at all, but because the game literally takes place in an MMO world, where the game play mechanics are… Confusing? 

If you all ever played an MMO before, then well, you should know how stats work! Also how one gains EXP (experience), and how healing items should work! I’m not here to give an MMO lesson, but seriously Period Cube, why you no LEVEL PROPERLY!?  

The MC is quite literally LVL 1, and she joins a group of high lvl players who kill high lvl monsters! Usually in MMO’s, as long as you put down one hit on the monster, regardless if your support or not, you gain some EXP! But she doesn’t gain anything! Not unless the story calls for it! WHAT EVEN!! What kind of MMO does that to a player!? An evil MMO, that’s what! 

Alright, I’m done ranting on that! My true goal here is to talk to ya’ll about Kazuha! Our heroine in Period Cube! You know…

This girl!

Kazuha is a I-do-not-know-how-old girl, whose brother has gone missing. So in order to find out where he has gone, she travels inside an MMO world. Apparently her childhood friend, Hiroya and her brother, Shiki, use to play the game.

So, OBVIOUSLY, he has to be inside the game. 

“Let’s not call the cops and or tell our parents, and let’s go save my brother!”

I am not in anyway bashing on the game! I LOVED IT! But some of these plots you have tilt your head back and laugh like crazy! Like if the parents were present half the time (or even common sense) in these situations, none of this shit would go down! At least think a little bit more on the topic, before running off half cocked! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ!

Anyways! 

As Kazuha, you travel into the world of Arcadia and meet a bright cast of characters! Some want to capture you, some want to befriend you and a lot wanna date you! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) {sign me up for THIS MMO!}

Now you gotta realize that the server your on in the game, is a high level server. Meaning all the players within, are ABOVE lvl 1! There are no noobs! Everyone knows about the game, knows how it play it and knows what to do to get out. Even the monsters on the servers are said to be harder then normal server monsters!

Why am I telling you this?

The MC, Kazuha, is LVL 1

That’s right! The MC gets dropped into this do or die server, AT LVL 1! WTF!!! She has no idea how to play! She doesn’t know what the controls are, how to equip weapons, how to change BGM music, how to join a party, or how to do ANYTHING!!!

This is natural for first time MMO player! Menus, party windows, skill windows, it can all be very fucking confusing! Don’t believe me? Look below…

Now these are taken from World of Warcraft! LOOK AT THAT! LOOOOOK AT THAT INTERFACE!!!! If you don’t know what you are doing, all that looks confusing as hell! It’s to much to take in, especially if you can’t rationalize the abbreviations for stuff! (note: the first image is end game content, but you get the idea!) 

And here you have poor Kazuha being dropped into a freaking HARDCORE server, and everyone expects her to go LIT on everything! GTFO!! щ(ಠ益ಠщ) 

I know what an MMO is, and I know how to get the gist of things when I get dropped into one. But DAMN, Kazuha hasn’t even touched one! NOT A SINGLE ONE! I can’t project my knowledge onto her, so of course, I felt really bad for her!

Give poor Kazuha a break! All she wants to do is find her brother and get the hell out of this death game! And that’s literally what it is! A game of death! And she is LVL 1! Bring on the instant death, with just one hit! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

But you know what Kazuha doesn’t do? She doesn’t fucking cry! Nope! She doesn’t go and beg the highest lvl player to protect her! HELL NO! She continuously asks everyone to HELP HER get stronger, so that she can fight!

In a MMO, you join parties to lvl! It’s the easiest and safest way to lvl, instead of soloing it up like a boss! XD And Kazuha is smart, she know she’ll die if she doesn’t party up! You go girl! Get dem lvls!! 

I’m 100% team Kazuha in this game! WOO!

Black Wolves Saga -Bloody Nightmare- Bishie’s Take <3

*knock knock* Hi, hi! It’s been awhile! I’m back to divulge my thoughts on Black Wolves Saga -Blood Nightmare-, the game that my sister from another mother @ManaMizer bugged me CONSTANTLY about!

I’m talking constantly! Massive side eye to her >.>;;! : P LOVE YA GIRL~! 

When I had some down time to myself, I decided to finally get around to starting this game up! Thanks to the amazing fan-translators (that worked hard) I was able to play this game through the VNR! And you can too via the link HERE.

So there I sat, reading in the dark.

AND THEN IT WENT FROM ZERO TO A HUNDRED real quick! Just one thing after the other reigned down upon our MC, and oh my gods… She couldn’t catch a break!

In the opening we’re introduced to wolves attacking a village, their just straight up going in on this village of humans!! There’s just all this growling, screaming and the crunchy noises of people eating… It’s pretty intense! Why though!? … Don’t worry no spoilers here ^_<

AND THEN…

Cut to our MC in her tower, sipping some tea and wishing she was outside. I had some Rapunzel flashback vibes here. I was like okay, cool, the tone has calmed down. Great! I can relax! We get introduced to some new characters, everyone is all smiles, she still wants to go outside, etc, etc… AND THEN…

HELLLO~

Here comes this guy, Auger, barging in and ruining the party. No seriously, he ruins the dinner their having, that’s straight up rude. If this game couldn’t be even more crueler to the MC… Doesn’t even let her finish eating!! *shake my head*

This handsome, cat eared fellow, is the twin brother to Mejojo, who happens to have the the hots for our MC. Our MC is a rare breed of human, and has extremely fragile health! (Thus… why she is in the tower, to keep her from getting sick)

Well, Auger, being the good brother he is, decides to fetch our MC away! Under the pretense that she is being ARRESTED, because apparently, SHE IS A WITCH!

Obviously this is a lie to get the MC’s butt into the castle, so Mejojo can woo her, but these twins be crazy! Like you need to read some of the stuff that happens with these two. The best part about playing this whole game is just sitting back and watching everything unfold.

The common route is the longest part of the whole game! Once you’re done with it, the routes to me seemed variably short compared to the common route. Disappointing in length, but story wise, all the routes were extremely gratifying. 

ESPECIALLY MY MAIN BOO Guillan!! (woof~ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) <3)

Anyways, once your stuck in the castle, it’s not all glitz and sunshine. Especially with those twins around. Your family, Nesso and Zara, are trying everything to get you back! To, uh, not so good results. 

(ノ′Дヾ) oh noes…

Yeahhhh, that doesn’t look like a face that is ready to let you go. ^^;;

Well, do you end up escaping? Do you eventually get saved by the wolves? Why were they attacking the village? Why are you talking about the twins so much!? 

Woah, woah… One question at a time! The reason I bring up the twins a lot, is because the common route is basically 89.9% them! It’s their story, with the wolves mixed in! 

What? Don’t believe me? Play it! No seriously, it’s a good game! Once I started, I didn’t stop. I finished the entire game in a night! For me, after clearing the common route, it was smoothing sailing for every other route! (Entirely addicting to read!)

You need to unlock multiple bad ends and good ends, in order to unlock some of the characters! Like Arles, you need to complete the twins 3P route! Oh yeah… 3P… I WROTE THAT! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 

Is it worth all that trouble to unlock these characters? Sure is! I 100% completed this game because I wanted more of this edgy, dark, otome game! I was left wanting more! MOREEE I tell YOU!! mwahahahahaha *cough, hack, cough* Ahem, sorry! ^^;;

Don’t you wanna know more about this cast of characters? I’m sure you do! THEN GO PLAY THE GAME! Off with you~!

Bishie Is Back & Ready For Reviews! Movies, Games, Otome & MORE!

Hey everyone! It’s been quite a while and I am so happy to be starting off the year of 2018 with my writing! As most of you are aware, I love writing! It’s been my passion forever and although i do not post most of my work that i create, some it I have.

Happy Easter! We’re ready to celebrate the day with 3 completely new routes (these weren’t available in the poorly translated phone app)- Elliot non-stay route, Peter non-stay route and Julius non-stay route!

Quickie Otome Review: ReBirthday Song

I’ve been on an otome binge lately, so honestly, I didn’t feel much like taking time out of that, to write! ^^;; But since I already finished Sengoku Darling (all the routes out so far), Nightshade (which was AMAZING~!! Hanzo is bae ❤), & Black Wolves Saga -Bloody Nightmare- (omg… Guillian is best boi!!!!)  I decided I would write a quickie review ON-

ReBirthday Song~++

 This game was the first one I started on my otome binge! And I don’t regret it in the slightest! I honestly didn’t know what to expect from it. I went in, completely blind. I came out, ABSOLUTELY satisfied. I was lucky to pick up and play this game, thanks to the lovely translators who worked on the English patch! (I have no skill when it comes to reading Japanese T_T) If you are interested in playing it for yourself, you will have to buy the game off of Amazon or Ebay, and you can use this patch to help you play it in English!

        Oh man… Where to begin with this title. I guess, from the beginning? I don’t want to spoil the main meat of the story (or the routes), since part of the fun is figuring it out for yourself! The revelations are to good for me to spoil them, so I wont!

I can say, without a doubt, there is replay value in this game! Once you finish a route, extra “thought” content unlocks in each of the five guys routes, giving his perspective on certain situations that occurred! (SO CUTE!) Also, you get the chance to unlock both the Rebirth End & Shinigami End, which is a win-win in my book! These endings would both be considered good, depending on your viewpoint! I can’t recommend this game enough!

So I’ll  keep this short and sweet~ ❤

You, as the MC, start off alone and confused. However, you do remember hearing a familiar voice. Just who does this voice belong too? What is it trying to tell you?

Anyways, you wake and meet a a talking owl! This talking owl, with a monocle and everything, whisks you away and takes you to a special castle. This castle is a school and your future home base throughout the entire game, save for the occasional moments in other areas! 

     It is here, the owl, who happens to be the Headmaster of the school, informs you that you are in fact dead and that your soul, rather then passing on to Heaven, stays in the Netherworld. So of course, your next bet is to become a Shinigami! Because, well, that’s what the school does of course. Trains Shinigami! (think reapers~!)

     So you agree, because what other choice do you have? And then, some time passes. You learn that in the course of only like a month or two, the MC isn’t doing so hot in school! In fact, she is doing horribly. She doesn’t pay attention very well, she isn’t getting good grades at all and her favorite subject is, well, sleeping & lunch! SIGN ME UP, BECAUSE THAT IS ME 24/7! #relatable

In order to become a full fledged Shinigami, like the handsome men pictured above (Zen & Rikka), you have to pass a test and be paired with a fellow partner! If you fail the test, well you are NOT getting a partner! And you do not become a Shinigami. Our MC is in turmoil over this, but she has high hopes anyway! Maybe she’ll pass? Maybe!? Well, despite Zen and Rikka’s support… SHE FAILS!! T_T

     THUS, our MC fails so horribly, she is placed into a special supplementary class where she meets our 5 romance routes! Four out of the five are open to play, though! The last route, Nami-senpai’s is unlocked, AFTER, you finish the other routes!

The order in which you finish these routes is somewhat important, since one particular route could ruin it for the zinger at the end! But i will say, each guy is amazing! 

I suggest starting off with either Kairi or Yoru first, since their good introductory characters! Also, the common route is pretty long and extremely good! I simply adored the MC in this game! She is so spunky and kind! She may be lacking in self-confidence, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to push forward and help others! (Seriously, the amount of times i cried for that girl… T_T) And the guys are supppper supportive! Gosh, are they so supportive and cool! 

I must insist you do AME’S route LAST! I felt his route divulged the most when it came to dropping those hint bombs on the true story underneath the surface, so if you don’t want to get spoiled early, I suggest going for the green haired cutie last!

As I stated above, each of these routes is fairly long and has three different endings you can obtain. ReBirth Ending, Shinigami Ending & The BAD END! With both the Rebirth & Shinigami Endings, you get CG’S, and there will be no CG’s for the BAD ENDS! (yay!!)

No seriously, YAY!, I particularity hate games that force you to play the BAD END, in order to obtain a new CG! With this game, NOPE, you get CG’s only for the two other endings that are TO ME, considered GOOD ENDINGS! xoxox IT’S A WIN-WIN! You not only get to replay for extra content, but you get ANOTHER good end! It’s GENIUS! xoxox

Ayyyyyyy, once you finished with all the other four routes, NAMI-SENPAI is unlocked! So start your game over and pick the new choices that appear for his route~! AND GOOD LUCK!

Should You Bring Tissues?

I never considered ReBirthday Song to be tragic or painful! Not in the slightest! Was it sad? Yes, it was, but not the type of sadness that makes me wish I never opened the game up in the first place!! I found the story endearing, heartfelt and it made me cry from happiness, frustration and empathy towards the characters.

As I continued to read, I started to really grow attached to all of them! Even Yuyu, the supposed comedy relief, side kick! Each character made me just wanna scoop them up and hug them! Their lines bounced off of another perfectly and the MC was apart of that! IN FACT, she was the glue that bound them all together! AND THAT IS JUST MAGICAL TO READ~!

Do I recommend picking up and playing ReBirthday song? YES, please, do it now! The soundtrack by the way, really clinched it for me! The flow of the music went well with what was going on and I was admirably impressed! If not for the story, at least play it for the soundtrack! (seriously, play it for the story though… >.>;;)

Awww, thank you guys for sticking with me! I know I should write a lot more… BUT THE GAMES!! D: THE GAMES CALL ME~! xoxoxo

Hello, everyone. I’m happy to announce that the English Patch for Ayakashi Gohan is now complete!

You can download the English patch files here, and the image+menu translations file here. Instructions are included in the readme text file. If the links don’t work for you, do tell me so I can upload them on other downloading sites. Also, menus are only about… 40% or 50% translated, so do tell if you need any help in anything.

Downloading both files is recommended to experience the game as its whole, but if you have a slow connection and can’t download huge files, you can just download the English patch file, and I’ll send you the image+menu translations files in .jpgs and .pngs, provided if you contact me about it. Okay? 😀

Sengoku Darling: Keiji Maeda Route Review!

Bishie here! Welcome back to another Sengoku Darling route review! Next up, we have Keiji Maeda! He was one of the prominent characters we were introduced to in the prologue! He manages to stop a thief from stealing our coin pouch and hands it back to us with a bright smile! Kojiro happens to know him, though he isn’t a happy camper about it!

And so, without further ado! Let me delve into Keiji’s route for all of you~!

Kojiro, our bodyguard, doesn’t have much of a high opinion of Keiji. At first glance, it’s quite apparent that the man isn’t exactly a normal looking samurai. He wears brightly colored clothing (latest fashions even), is loud and is extremely tall!

But despite all of that, our MC still decides to allow him to escort her to Echigo! And the journey isn’t a short one, it takes several days even! Along the way, the trio stop at rest areas and places to eat! There is even a cute little short story, between the MC and Keiji! (It’s adorable! xoxo)

Anyways, the group makes it to Echigo and right off the bat Keiji proclaims that the MC is the princess! Uh oh! Guess no hiding for her! Kojiro gets mad… But what’s done is done and the MC forgives poor Keiji, who apologizes. He hadn’t meant to let his tongue slip like that and he was just being honest. That’s just the type of person he is.

The MC is introduced to everyone and then Keiji decides to take you out to see Echigo the next day!

Reading Keiji’s route felt so relaxing! He is the epitome of a gentle, doting, man. He quite literally always is smiling and wants nothing but for the MC to smile as well. Just like the MC, I forget as well that war and battles are forthcoming. (I’ve read the other routes! I know what’s up >.>;;)

You may tell yourself that there is a ‘but’ coming when I continue to spout how happy and bright he is. Well there IS another side to him, BUT, it’s not at all what I had expected.

All this sweet, kind, bear of a man wants is peace. Yup, he doesn’t want to fight anymore! (though he doesn’t tell you that in so many words…) His dejected look when he tells you this, even brings the MC to be bold and hold his hands, as she wishes for the same thing, so that he wouldn’t have to fight anymore. (You go girl! ^_^)

“… love at first sight…” 

Just as the quote says, this route was truly all about the love the pair shared! Honestly, all the fighting and stuff took a back seat to their romance! Not like the other routes, where the guys would come back wounded, or had important strategies to plan, etc. This romance bloomed early and Keiji went straight to telling the MC his true feelings.

I loved how this man wasted no time in telling the MC his feelings. He is a man who speaks from the heart and goes with his gut. I respected that the most about him. He didn’t have much as a childhood. He left his family and was lucky enough to be taken in and become a respected warlord.

Well, with that being said. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows in this route! (sorry ’bout that ^^;)

The main conflict is that our MC needs to choose a side. Either Kai and or Echigo. After she chooses a side, she has to return home! Once she returns home, she has to find a husband and conceive an heir!

Even if she chooses Echigo (Keiji’s side), she still needs to return home! But Keiji can’t follow her! Or can he? (This is where I started to tear up…) 

Wanna know more? Hehe, well play the route for yourself silly! The game is available now on IOS and or Android! The routes are only 4.99 each!

All in all, Keiji won me over to his side!

But Yukimaru remains the true MVP!! (that man’s sad ending, got me balling like a baby!)

I simply adored Keiji’s attitude, his endearing smile, his constant knack for making myself as a reader smile and even his keen eye for beautiful things~! He is a genuinely sweet, gentle man and wanted nothing but to have the MC smile for him, truly. Even though 95% of his route, she was crying! (uh oh~!)

Yukimaru and Keiji were both prominent figures in the prologue, and both are openers for their regions, so if your undecided upon which regions of guys to choose from, then these two routes I say play first. It gives you a general idea of each of the characters you will be meeting. Which is nice that the routes continue to let you examine the other characters you have a chance to date later on~!

        So now that I’ve finished Keiji’s route, that leaves me with only two left! Uh oh! But it looks like MORE characters will coming to this game very soon!

So I guess I got my work cut out for me! XD
